应县木塔：千年木构的力学传奇
应县木塔（释迦塔）高67.31米，纯木结构无钉无铆，历经40余次地震依然屹立，与比萨斜塔、埃菲尔铁塔并称“世界三大奇塔”。塔内现存辽代彩塑26尊，暗层斗拱多达54种，堪称“斗拱博物馆”。因保护需要现已禁止登塔，但一层释迦牟尼像仍可近距离瞻仰。

The wooden pagoda (Shijia Pagoda) is 67.31 meters high, and the pure wooden structure is without nails or riveting. It is still standing after more than 40 earthquakes. It is known as the "three major strange towers in the world" with the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Tower. There are 26 colored sculptures of liao Dynasty and 54 kinds of dark layer brackets, which can be called "dougong Museum". The boarding of the tower is now banned for protection, but a statue of Sakyamuni can still be seen up close. |
