平阳木板年画

源于宋朝平阳(古临汾)的木板年画艺术在元、明、清时期得到广泛发展。宋朝灭亡以后，元代统治者强迫许多印刷工人从南方迁到平阳，使这里成为印刷工业的中心，从而产生了平阳木板年画。

Pingyang New Year wood block

The art of Pingyang (ancient Linfen) in the Song Dynasty was widely developed in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. After the fall of the Song Dynasty, the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty forced many printers to move from the south to Pingyang, making it the center of the printing industry, thus producing Pingyang wooden New Year paintings.
